Liang He(b. 2000 in Foshan, China) reimagines technological system and
reconstructs them both as archaeological sites and speculative systems to
excavate future possibilities from historical moments. Technological apparatus
I have worked with includes: a CTA bus, FPV drones, video game Mega Man X
(1993), the 18th century Jacquard loom, a computer mouse depicted by
a 1973 magazine, etc. Often inspired by my experiences as a video gamer, I
create sculpture and installation to produce self-reflective experience for
audiences.
